Top 5 Habits of High Achievers
I get the opportunity to work with incredibly successful, high achievers. Over the past year, I’ve noticed some trends that feel worth reporting.
They work out
All differently. All consistently. 4-5 + times/week
Walking is a very common theme.
They eat healthy (90% of the time) or at least intentionally!
Fresh. Less processed. More veggies.
The science is clear that if our bodies are taxed by processing shit food, then our cognitive ability is affected. We gain weight or feel bad, then our minds follow suit.
They have a meditation and/or journaling practice to cultivate self-awareness
They can deal with stress better and don’t “react” poorly
They rely on systems to prioritize family/friends/personal time
This could be as simple as a calendar or time-blocking
They keep themselves accountable.
They work with someone to keep themselves honest. Could be friends, a spouse, a therapist or a coach! DING!
Notice: There are no secrets here. No shortcuts. No hacks.
Just a few things that, if done consistently, add up to a rich and fulfilling life. Crushing it, if you will.
